Hi, I’m AugustTree.

I mainly work with C++, Python, and Linux-based development environments. This site is a place to collect technical notes that are worth keeping around: deployment logs, engineering decisions, tooling experiments, and practical lessons that still matter after the original task is done.

What I usually write about

• C++ and Python work from real projects
• Linux server setup and deployment
• Developer tooling and workflow improvements
• AI-assisted development when it actually helps

Why this site exists

I prefer writing things that future-me can reuse:

• a clean setup note instead of repeating the same installation steps
• a deployment checklist instead of rediscovering the same mistakes
• a project recap instead of losing the reasoning behind decisions

If an article is worth publishing, it should still be useful months later.
